Substation Jacket Foundations
Sika offers high- and ultra-high-performance cementitious materials for grouting the pile sleeve connections of jacket foundations for substations.
Formulated for rapid strength development, Sika’s shrinkage-compensated and highly flowable SikaGrout®-9500, SikaGrout®-9550, SikaGrout®-9600, SikaGrout®-9610, SikaGrout®-9800, and SikaGrout®-9850 products are robust substitutes for OPC and other oil well cement slurries in subsea grouting applications.
The use of Sika’s grout materials over conventional OPC-based grouts significantly reduces the risk of leakage and typically results in lower material consumption and reduced contingency requirements. Thanks to the high viscosity and strong internal cohesion of the mixed material, there is no risk of dilution, ensuring a robust transfer of jacket loads to the foundation.
